Dr. Ratkenstein appears several times throughout your game in a series of cinematic events, checking in on your progress.Įvery part of this escape room is special, with immersive storytelling, impressive engineering, a custom soundtrack, and back-to-back memorable moments. Each puzzle had a memorable finish and many were tied together with the set in delightful and amusing ways. Your team plays as human test subjects imprisoned by researcher Timothy Ratkenstein, who is desperate for test results in order to finish his dissertation. This first room (Lab Rat) sets an incredibly high bar and is our new choice for the #1 Escape Room in Los Angeles. Hatch Escapes is a comparatively new company, opening up their first room in 2018.
